Why am I so hungry today? Aargghhh!

So I've been doing really good this whole week and Saturday. Sticking to planned meal and snacks. Going to the gym. I just had my nice dinner of vegetable salad, and roasted chicken breast, and an apple. Very filling (in theory). But I'm still hungry!
I don't know why. I shouldn't be. I know a couple of hundred extra calories won't kill me, but I really can't do cheat days because I fall right off the bandwagon.
I need to take my mind off food for the next few hours till I go to sleep. What should I do?

Go for a nice long walk. Drink glass of water and then if still hungry have a snack1

Drink water, eat something else (that's good for you!!) .. much on some carrots, celery, broccoli, pea pods, an orange .. Or go for a walk! Go take some pictures in a park near by (this is what I do when I can't control myself). Hope you figure something out!!1

I snack on frozen mixed fruit. One cup is only 70 calories. Yum!0

@SoleTrainer60 : Duly noted. I'll pick some up when I go to the store next time. Thanks!

You are welcome! The fruit that I buy is NO Sugar Added, which is good.0

Did you have any fat with it? Seeds, nuts, avocado? Maybe you need some rice/potato/beans instead of the apple. That might help with you feeling full for longer. I know if I've missed that, I'm hungry like an hour later. Very healthy though, great job on your eating1
