Is getting married one of them? lol

Nope! Getting married is not one of them. When I got my divorce, I lost a TON of weight, so I am living proof that getting married puts on pounds!

I know what you mean. When I got divorced I called it my "divorce diet" I lost tons of weight. Of course I slowly gained it all back but now am losing them the healthy way. :flowerforyou:

There is a good humor documentary on Hulu called Fat Head. This guy is a comedian but stresses what went wrong on the US diet and why cutting fats out of our diet are making us fatter on average. I found it very humorous to watch and I recommend it highly.

Description While most people saw the documentary Super Size Me as an expose of the fast food industry, comedian and former health writer Tom Naughton saw it as a dare: He'd show that you could lose weight on a diet of burgers and fries.

This is now the 3rd thread created on this.

Some of the article is accurate but alot of it is broscience and outdated research.

LOVE this! I do almost all of these things, and if you look at my ticker, you'll see that they work.

Good article and one that I'll be forwarding too. Thanks!

The only things that I'm still guilty of is falling for 'fat-free" and "low-fat" foods and using/eating foods with substitute sugar.

Also, I don't always get enough sleep.

Same here girl! Im going to pay closer to attention to that.....
