Hi I'm coming into 3rd week on mfp calorie counting and 3rd week of c25k and stronglifts I feel good but scale hasn't moved at all. I got hypothyroid and other health issues so it's hard for me to lose anyways but though it ll be something by now:/ Can it happen that scales need to catch up when starting new workouts? I was eating some exercise calories but I think I'll need to skip that and just stick with allowance /1380 /5.5,69 kg.I got 10 kg to lose.
I was on WW before and I did lose but really don't want to be back on it found it too restrictive.

I'd give it some more time. Sounds like you're on the right track. I'd be surprised if you don't start seeing results within the month. You got this!

New workouts cause water retention. Also where you are in cycle can matter for many women

Yes I got food scales and weigh everything.

then keep on doing what you are doing - 3 weeks is still very early - and your muscles are likely retaining water as well, so between that and regular fluctuations it is too soon to expect much in terms of results..

If you're only 3 weeks into those new exercises? Then that's likely. Not given, but likely. Give it a few more weeks. Since you haven't gained weight, you're not going in the "wrong" direction.

Need more time.. the body needs to adjust to less calories and also the workouts.. Eating some exercise is not a bad thing as that is how MFP is designed for you to do.

Just a pointer, if you are not using a food scale to weigh all your food consumption, now would be a great a time to get one. Also, making sure you are using correct entries from the food database, and since you have been eating back exercise calories, just make sure that your calorie burns are not over estimated and eating too many of them back. It can be the difference in how big or small your deficit is, and might cause you to lose slower.

If you choose to for go the exercise cals for now, just know they are there if you need them to fuel your body if needed..

Since you just started working out, your muscles may be retaining fluid to help in the healing process, and that, along with your monthly cycle, can mask weight loss. I am a "whoosh" loser once a month, as are many others, particularly women.

You don't have to eat ALL your exercise calories back, but you are doing a serious running and lifting program, and that needs to be fueled appropriately. Maybe tweak things by just eating back 75% but make sure you have enough energy to do what you want to do. I would go the full month before changing things up, however.

Also, the more rigorous you are with weighing things to the gram, the better, especially things like peanut butter.

I've been trying to lose weight for about a month now. I also started a pretty intense exercise program about that time. And I have hypothyroidism and some other health issues that make weight loss very slow and sometimes impossible. So I started this with low expectations.

In that month, I've gotten a lot stronger. I put on a jacket the other day that had very tight sleeves. They were noticeably looser. I also was wearing a sheath dress that usually is very tight in the hips. It was still tight, but not as tight. In that time, I fluctuated between my starting weight and 1 lb above my starting weight.

I expected no loss the first 2 weeks because of the new exercise. I didn't expect it the 3rd and 4th week, and it was frustrating me. I have been eating most of my exercise calories because I have a history of under eating when I'm dieting and it has a very negative effect on my already precarious health. I'd considered lowering my calories, but didn't because of that past experience.

This morning, I lost a pound.

All that long story to say, give it a few weeks. A new exercise program will almost certainly lead to a temporary weight gain as your muscles retain fluid.

Definitely give it a few more weeks. You will see a difference but I think it's still early days.
