I grew up watching the 4th Doctor. I've gotten back into it since I've been watching it with my daughter, starting with the 9th doctor. We're a few seasons into the 10th now.

I do on occasion. My favourite Dr and companion were David Tennant (10) and Billie Piper (Rose)

I've watched most of classic and all of recent Doctor Who. Our family loves to watch it. I knew a guy back in college who had his long time girlfriend (now wife) knit him a 4th Doctor scarf as that was his favorite.

Mine happens to be the 11th. Husband's is a tie between 9th and 12th.

Edit to add: All hail the Daleks! :D

Yes but I admit that what I saw of classic Dr Who seemed very boring to me (please don't lynch me).

Loved the 4th Doc (Tom Baker). Tennant was AMAZING, and I actually like Capaldi because he reminds me of the 4th - distracted and rude sometimes without realizing it and amusing himself more than being ingratiating to others. He's brought the character back to what I think of as "the REAL Doctor."

I liked Smith (11), but I felt like he was too young and too "all over the place." But I liked the Ponds and River Song in that story arc, so I wasn't completely disappointed. Vincent and the Doctor is one of my favorite episodes from Smith's era.
