Help Weight Plateau!

I'm at a stand still and I'm not quite sure why! I walk 7 miles four days of the week and walk four miles two days of the same week. Basically I walk 36 miles every week. I drink tons of water and I do not eat past 6pm and I don't drink water past 7pm. I get eight hours of sleep everyday. I've also cut out caffeine, sugary sodas, and candy. I've lost 19.5lbs in less then two months! I don't know what I'm doing wrong.

How long has your weight been at a stand still? It may not be a plateau.0

first, youve lost 20 lbs in two months -whats the problem??
second, most of what you are doing is irrelevant to weight loss - all you need is a calorie deficit (which obviously you have if you are losing 10lbs per month).7 -

Not a plateau. Just unrealistic expectations. Won't lose every week.11 -

1 week is not a plateau.... 6 weeks is.
well done on your weight loss so far, it will keep coming off, be patient and realise that some weeks we will maintain and others we lose - weight fluctuates normally for a host of reasons.4 -

You are not stuck. You expect to lose weight each time you get on the scale, but the human body is not that efficient. Your realistic goal is to lose weight over time, and so far you are doing that. But we have this annoying factor: water weight. You can retain excess water for a variety of reasons including stress, high sodium, higher than usual carb intake, lack of sleep, muscle fatigue/repair, TOM/hormones. Water weight is temporary and can sometimes mask the results on the scale.
So have patience. If you seem to be stalled for 4-6 weeks or longer, that would be reason for concern. 1 week is just normal life/fluctuations.7 -
Thank you everyone I didn't know that plateau was longer then a week! I know I can't expect it to shed off extremely fast I just wanted to lose a couple more pounds to get to my first goal.2

The best thing to do is figure out how many calories you burn, and how many you need to eat to lost 1-2 lbs a week, thats a more healthy weight loss. Thats the purpose of this app- to help you figure all that out. Then for every lb you want to lose a week, eat 500 calories less. If you wanna lose 2 a week, thats 1000 less a day. Eat a balanced diet of 50% veggies and fruit, 25% protein, and 25% grains. It has nothing to do with when you eat, and water should never be cut off at a certain time, if you feel thirsty drink a cup of water. The chances of keeping up that 10lb a week loss is HIGHLY unlikely (and dangerous). Simply because thats how bodies work, at first you'll lose a good bit, 5-10 simply water weight, then from there on its constant maintenance. IF you aren't losing weight at all, cut out some more calories, just don't go below 1200 or you're in danger of other issues. Or try limiting your dairy, carbs, and foods tha make you gassy1

Also like they said each week you wont lose the same, women especially fluctuate weight a lot each day

A week is not a plateau and in all the things you talk about you completely missed the only thing that really matters for weight loss - a calorie deficit.2

Thank you again I've been eating only 1200 calories a day but now that I think of it I may not be getting enough protein.0

Also unless it messes with your sleep, there is no reason to cut off eating at a certain time2 -

While its good to get protein the main thing about losing weight is eating less than we burn. The macros don't matter, except that certain ones do fill us for longer e.g protein/fat/fibre and protein is great for helping us retain muscle. When we eat at calorie deficit we want to retain as much muscle as we can while we lose fat.1 -

Don't worry about one week. For medical reasons, I eat very little and have around 50 lbs to lose. Sometimes for days at a time I don't lose a thing. A few times, my weight even went up slightly. I dont eat enough to gain weight so it could have been any number of reasons, but...it eventually moved again.

You don't have to stop eating after 7pm... silly food myth. Don't stop drinking water at a certain time, either. Hydration is important. You've lost 20lbs in 2 months which is more than the safe 2lb per week loss; you need to adjust your expectations. You don't have to cut out caffeine or candy/sugar. Weight loss is all about calories and no what you should/shouldn't eat.4
