Zumba - bigger calorie burn.0

Zumba without a doubt!!0

Zumba. I really love my teacher and the energy in my class. Plus, I burn more calories in that class (and get more sweaty) than any other fitness class. It's based on the intensity of the particular Zumba class but I personally burn more than 500 calories doing 60 minutes of intense Zumba.0

I've heard good things about both, although I would say re: Zumba, shop around now. I hear that each class is of a varying intensity, it took my friend a while to find a 'fat burning' one rather than an 'OAP gentle workout' one. Oh and if you use Wii Fit, don't trust the scales, they're all wrong.0

Both. I like Zumba (for the Wii) for a good, sweaty workout. I like the Wii Fit when I'm wanting something a little "easier" or some of the strength stuff. I like to change it up once in a while.0

I like them both but I think zumba is the best!0

I haven't done Zumba on the Wii (have from workout videos though), but I LOVE Wii boxing on the Wii fit. The Zumba workout videos are fun too, but don't know how that would be on the Wii.0

I love them both. Wii Fit is fun for something to get you moving but the major calorie burn is with the Wii Zumba! I love it!!! After you are done you will be out of breath and soaked in sweat! Plus it's fun and you don't realize you are working out!0

ZZZZZZUUUUMMMMBBBBAAAA for sure....0

zumba!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!0

ITA Zumba is the best !!! IMO, its easier to make a connection to the instructor and the other ppl working out. To me WII get a bit mundane and boring.0

ZUMBA!!!0

I think it depends on where you're at, physically. Zumba is very hard on the knees, and if you are not used to getting a lot of cardio I would recommend starting with the the wii fit and doing balance exercises to build up the stabilizing muscles in your knees especially. I have zumba for wii, and it is a bigger calorie burn but it's also not really for those who have been sedentary for a long time.0

I love zumba --- but I hate doing anything like that at home..its boring! Get to a class where the people are cheering and clapping -- make friends -- they keep you accountable If I miss a class now, people wonder where I was and I feel guilty!0

Zumba by a mile.
I have not done Zumba, but I have Wii Fit and other wii fitness programs and the fact is the burn isn't that great with most of the games. I use them when I'm in a "better than nothing" situation.0 -
Zumba is a good workout but I agree its tough on the knees and takes a bit of getting used to. I'm not fond of wii fot I don't find it as smooth...too much messing with controls...boards. Have found this with alot of the fitness games on the wii
Would recommend zumba on wii...really worth it0 -
You can instant stream exercise videos via NetFlix. Zumba isn't on there, but they have various cardio dance videos as well as other fitness videos.0

Wii fit is a gimick. it is good as a warm up nothing else.
so i would say zumba
i use ea sports active 2 for xbox and kinect it has a heart monitor and it tracks you and tells you when you are doing something wrong,
i have gone from not being able to do 3 press ups to doing 50 from 5 sit ups to 100.
i find the warm up on ea sports active more taxing than wii fit or wii fit plus, except the jogging.0 -
Zumba, the wii fit barely touches your calories and even though I've unlocked the hardest level of everything, it's rare for anything but jogging to make me work hard enough for a sweat.0
-
Thanks all for the answers!!!I guess I will be looking into Zumba or the ea sports active2.0

I have the Wii Zumba it is great. Wii fit never was anything i wanted to try. For me fitness has to be fun too or i dont want to bother.0
