I recently heard that the closer you get to goal weight the smaller the calorie deficit should be. I haven't come across this before and would like to check, I'm approx 14lbs away from my goal weight, but am still trying to continue with 1200 net calories. Wondering if I need to change that?
Thank you in advance

As you lose weight; your body consumes less calories ... so you have to have to consume even less calories.

If you have zero drficit... you'll lose zero ... if you decrease tour deficit... youll lose more slowly.

Your body doesn't know what your brains "goal weight" is.

@Noel_57 I seem to have hit a plateau, and unlike before the scale isn't moving at all! Thank you for the suggestion, will try increasing activity. Yay it is exciting finally being so close to goal weight!

Thank you, yeah I think this will take longer to come off.
I've heard positive stories of people using WW :)
