i just started back up with mfp and it wanted me ti enter my stats again to set my calorie goal. and what seemed odd with me is that before my calories to lose weight were 1800-1900 calories to lose 2lbs a week. im currently about 211 pounds 21 years old and 5'2. it dropped my calories by alot to 1350 ? is this a new change ? because feom experience my body doesnt handle 1309 calories very well

You can manually reset your calories under "Goals."

You probably had it set to "Lose 1 pound per week" the last time you were using the site.

It could also be that you have a different answer (than before) on the setting for

How would you describe your normal daily activities?
    • Sedentary: Spend most of the day sitting (e.g. bank teller, desk job)
    • Lightly Active: Spend a good part of the day on your feet (e.g. teacher, salesperson)
    • Active: Spend a good part of the day doing some physical activity (e.g. food server, postal carrier)
    • Very Active: Spend most of the day doing heavy physical activity (e.g. bike messenger, carpenter)
