Looking for a few more active MFP friends like myself....

Hey There! I have been active on MFP since mid January and I have done well. I am looking to connect with others like me... women in their 40's trying to get healthier and in the process lose weight. I am 43, 5' 5.5" and my starting weight on Jan 11th was 260. My current weight is 191. My short term goal weight was 199 and I reached Onederland on May 10th! My next goal is to weigh less than my husband and I am not too far from there now. Maybe five pounds!! My long term goal is 175 <~~ Once there, I will re-evaluate and will likely set a new goal pending how I feel and what I think at that time. Right now I simply cannot imagine 175 because I have been so heavy for such a long time. I go to the gym a minimum of five times a week, usually more. I utilize MFP and weigh my food.

I have built some great friendships here, but would like a few more that are active daily on MFP & chatty. A like is noticed but real motivation comes when feedback is given. I am NOT a negative or every play must be by the book person... what works for one is not going to work for everyone.

Looking forward to starting a few new friendships...

    Hi there... I am 48, I started my healthy lifestyle on 11/28/16, I am 5'4 and currently down 58lbs since then. I am active daily, log all my food and also like you where I am doing this to get healthier the weight loss was just an added bonus. I still have about 35-40lbs to go before I switch over to maintenance. I am soo close to Onderland for the first time in 22 years I can taste it! :D My goal weight when I started was 180ish but now I have changed that to 165-170ish... who knows if I will change it again when I get there? feel free to add me.

    Me!! I have been here for 4 years?? I have had a hard time finding friends that like to discuss things...I am 46 and need to lose 30+ pounds....I recently had a broken ankle and I let it stop me this winter...I need to lose alot more now and I would love new friends to help keep me motivated!

    I've been here a bit over a year. 41 years old. down 70 lbs with 70 more to go. feel free to add me. I jave busy days I don't get on but most days I do. I try and comment and motivate people that do tje same for me!!

    I'm in my 40's with 3 very busy boys and I struggle to find time for me. I'd love to have more interaction with people like me!
