Lifting heavy is a height killer

To go from 6'4 to 4'6, you must drop the heavy weight on your head - repeatedly10

I would get tested for dyslexia5

Are you lifting lighter now?0

True story: I recently had to drop the height on the monolith 1 notch, I thought it was because I started doing low bar squat, but when I went to the doctor, my height actually dropped 1/2 inch.0

That suck. Most women don't think short men are attractive. Unless u are a midget. That's only cause of where their faces reach.3

It's a matter of preference. I liked my short husband more than others because he was the most intelligent and fun4 -

Best part of fun sizes is that you can never have one.0 -

Am I the only one who read that as "boner" size?
yes; probably so.0 -
Same thing happened to me OP so I went to Australia and lifted for a month. Everything is upside down there so my bones decompressed.3

I have to say this is the weirdest original post I have ever read anywhere. I like your response, though. People don't want others to judge them by the extra weight they carry or any other physical issues. Yet, for some reason, many (not all) of those same people seem to judge others by their extra weight or other problems (height) and so on. I would much rather be with a person who is shorter or heavier or taller or whatever if that person is true in the heart than be with someone who looks like Apollo but is a total - you- know -what- to me or to others.

I, too, have been told by the oldtimer crowd that boys wouldn't like me if I lift heavy weights.
So I added another plate.5 -
Well crap... I'm only 5'2"... if I start lifting again, how short do you think i'll get?0

There is a natural compression of the spine as we age for anyone interested in facts.0

So I can't blame the heavy lifting for my 5'2 frame but I can blame old age for it? I'm gonna go cry now
Yep you is short because you old girl! although maintaining musclemass in the torso will reduce curvature as you get even older!MrStabbems wrote: »There is a natural compression if the spine as we age for anyone interested in facts.
Facts?? You think I came to MFP for facts? I am here for the sarcasm and the noodz
What about facts through sarcasm presented in the newd?1 -
This history behind this is because if short dudes couldn't get taller, they would get bigger. That's why back in the 80's many of the competitors were under 5'8" and even shorter.
Or maybe it's the supplements......................................
