is it ok to have 100-300
calories left? I'm just not hungry enough to
eat the rest of them and I dont want to eat
if I'm not hungry because I will keep on
and keep on.

you know yourself better than we do. I am the same way. If I were to eat just to meet a calorie goal it would most likely be something high in sugar and carbs and would flip that switch that would make me want to eat more. So eating when you aren't hungry just to meet an artificial number is silly if it causes you more problems than it solves. IMHO.

According to my trainer, as long as your NET is at least 1,000 calories, you should be ok. YOu should try and hit your goal as often as you can, but if you're 100-200 calories under once in awhile, don't worry.

ANYTHING IS OK...if it is a rarity. It is ok to have 100-300 calories left... just like it is ok to go over 100-300 calories another day... as long as it doesn't happen all the time.

I wouldn't stay under my daily count too often. Make sure you are getting pretty close to your suggested goals. Our bodies require a certain level just to function.

If that happens often then it might be a good idea to aim for more calories at each of your meals during the day. Either that or add a snack or two. A banana or an extra slice of whole grain bread will take care of 100 calories, and I'd rather have it early in the day than at bedtime.
