I eat salmon all the time, and I sort of have a Price Is Right intuition for calories.
To me that looks slightly larger than a serving. It looks about 300 calories.0 -
Not sure how accurate this will be - but I looked up that 3 oz of salmon is 152 calories. A deck of playing cards is about 3-4 oz. Since I don't know how thick the piece you were eating was can you estimate how many decks of playing cards it equated to. Once you have how many decks of playing cards - multiply that by 152. Here's a great guideline since we don't know what size that plate is that your fish is on.
3 servings/ounce equivalents of fish = 1 checkbook
3 servings/ounce equivalents of meat or poultry = 1 deck of cards
2 servings/ounce equivalents of peanut butter = 1 roll of 35 mm film or 1 ping-pong ball0
