I'll be getttinn one of these in the short term future. Looking for something extremely accurate at logging calories burnt. Money not a huge issue because I can save for the difference. I'm kind of tempted toward the apples Watch apps but that's just the geek in me.

None of them are "extremely accurate at logging calories burnt" based on studies. But the study I just saw did say FitBit was the most accurate for calories burnt. @edlanglais5 My HeartRate portion for my FitBit is very accurate.

Also, I have a FitBit Charge 2 (there are many versions). I love my FitBit.

Apple Watch was found most accurate for HR in a recent study (look around, there are multiple threads about the study posted all over the forums). None of them are particularly accurate for calorie burns.

I prefer the Apple Watch because I have an iPhone and Mac desktop/laptop, so it ties nicely into the Apple ecosystem. It's nice having my calendar, text messages, weather forecast, etc. all on my wrist. It also has a lot of other apps (both fitness and non-fitness related) which other wrist-worn devices can't touch.

Definitely get the Apple Watch. I had a Fitbit Charge 2 and returned it after a day for the Nike Sport Apple Watch Series 2. Like going from a Kia to a Rolls Royce.

I have a Fitbit blaze and it's very inaccurate! I'm waiting for my Apple Watch to arrive.

I had a Fitbit, graduated to the Garmin HR, and now I have the Apple Watch. I do think the Apple Watch is the most accurate. In comparing calories burned between my Garmin HR, Apple Watch and the Elliptical machine I have (which has a HR belt), I do find the Apple Watch to report a slightly lower burn but I attribute that to more information about me. And to be fair I have totally bought int to Apple ecosystem so I may be a little biased. Oh the other great thing is you can store all your music on the watch and connect to your Bluetooth headset and leave your phone at home - gps tracks your walk and syncs when you get back in range of your phone.

I've had 3 different Fitbits over the years (because they kept breaking). When my last one broke a few weeks ago, my kids bought me an Apple Watch for Mother's day, and I LOVE it. I think it is a little more accurate on my calorie burn (although I'm still trying to figure out where a difference of a couple hundred steps per day is coming from), and I like being able to look at my wrist and see the nutrition I have left on MFP, as well as the other apps that are accessible. (I also have an iPhone and a Macbook for home use, but I'm *not* a die-hard apple person.)
