Lost almost 5 lbs in 6 days

From 2500+ calories a day down to a little over 1200 per day. So far so good, my stomach is getting used to not eating a lot.
I didn't think it was possible to lose weight that fast.
Does anyone here have the success of losing weight without exercising? I'm planning to start soon but I'm not quite there yet.

    A large drop of water weight in the beginning is completely normal. If you keep losing that rapidly you'll want to up your calories a bit. Don't want to sacrifice lean muscle mass (including your heart).

    I lost 40lbs in the past without exercising. You'll look a little better and maybe feel better if you exercise but it is not necessary for weight loss. Exercise for health and body composition. Calorie deficit for weight loss.
