Has anyone successfully built muscle using Pilates instead of traditional strength training exercises? I know weight training is more effective but I don't enjoy it and therefore cant stick to it.

    I do pilates in conjunction with strength training. You'll get stronger with pilates but you won't get muscular.

    May be not huge muscles. That takes heavy weights. Pilates will certainly add some strength and good core.

    Thanks I really need to build up my leg muscle's. Once I have my form correct would it be beneficial to add ankle weights??
