Hi guys
So first time having the shake and bcaa its a low carb high protein shake i make with water i only drink half pre workout and half after so i dont break my intermittent fast.
Is this normal is it just my body getting used to the protein or is it becasue my body is used to fasting or is it jist a shake thing ill have to deal with it didnt taste bad either

what type of protein is it? your body may not like the type of protein (i.e. I can't use whey it makes me ill, so if I use protein powder, I use an egg white one)

for me not nauseous but gassy...I always try to buy samples before buying a tub - but honestly, I tend to not even use protein supplements since I get plenty with my daily intake

    creatotine makes me completely nauseated.

I tried a protein shake with it- and for weeks I was getting ill from the it. It was aweful- the day I finished it was the best day ever.

    regular old whey for me.

    ^ Assuming that meant creatine?
Creatine also gives me tummy trouble.

Glutamine also seems to make me need to use the toilet ASAP when I take it on an empty stomach - could be in the BCAAs?

If you don't eat a lot of protein/are vegetarian perhaps keto isn't for you, being low carb alternative carb heavy sources of protein are largely off limits and adequate protein is pretty essential.

+1 on gastrointestinal issues with whey. I buy whey isolate or hydrolized whey instead. Much easier to tolerate and even a few less calories. Admittedly, it costs more.

Yes. Figured anyone who knew- would know.
    #LazyAF.

I haven't had any direct- knowledgeable problems w/ glutamine. Just creatine- and it's like- I have to puke for hours- it's awful.

But no lower GI issues with any of usual products. (but I'm lazy- I only take whey/casein)
