I lost weight, and was going to the gym daily. I had issues come up, and went into a deep depression with ptsd. I started smoking cigarettes again, and generally fell into old habits with no exercise. I ate fast food, and crap, and gained 5lbs of pure flab fat.
I am back in this thing for not only My weight, but mental health. Ive noticed my mental health, and physical are so tied in now together that one changes the other drastically within a month.
I am taking care of my body, and mind now. I am I am making myself a promise to take care of my body and mind through health.
Anyone else notice mental health and physical health are so tied in that letting the body go causes depression? Just wondering.

I think you are very on to something. We sound very similar, as I suffer from depression that I attribute to weight gain, too.

Totally relate. PTSD led to depression and I gained a lot of weight and went back to smoking cigarettes too. Made me feel 10x worse and got in cycle. Mental health on the up so working on bod and soon (v soon promise) stopping the smoking again.
