I have also lost motivation, but I have not stopped logging consistently. This keeps me in check, not entirely, but it keeps me accountable. I also remind myself daily why I am doing this, and how far I have come. Check out the success boards, they are a massive help in this!

What served as your motivation before you lost it?

Go for a walk...right now! Then you have already turned it around.

Living a healthy lifestyle is like any other part of your life, you will have ups and down. Having a bad few weeks with your nutrition and/or exercise is like having a few bad weeks at work or having a rough patch in your relationship. There was a reason you started this journey and it was that reason you were successful.

What has happened in the past is something that cannot be changed so the best thing you can do is slowly get back to what you were doing. Have a healthy meal, or like @snooky211 said, go for a walk. Restart your journey and you will get back on track. We have all been there and you'll get through it. One thing I do is I always keep my first picture of when I started this journey 35lbs ago and when I get depressed I look at it and ask myself "Do i want to go back to looking like that and feeling tired and lethargic all the time?" and the answer is always NO! Stay strong!

It's hard to have motivation if you feel you are failing. Do you know why you are putting on weight? That's a big chunk of getting weight under control.

It might sound weird, but its worth a try.

Have a conversation with yourself. Outter you, talk to inner you. Ask yourself why you are doing it. what can you do to remove that stress. Tell yourself how much you want this to stop. Tell yourself you still care. Have a heart to heart with yourself and find what will motivate you to achieve what you want.

on the diet side, dont deprive yourself to the point of starvation. do what YOUR body can handle. Its a slow game, but its winnable. You CAN do it!

Don't start tomorrow, start now. I know everyone says that but seriously it is the first step to commitment. My journey began at 11pm at night after watching an episode of a common show about very obese friends. I sat there and said to myself....what the heck is my excuse. And so it began, I got my rear end dressed and went to the 24 hr gym and joined. I haven't looked back. Every day I feel more confidence and I take a daily selfie to look back and compare. Someone I hadn't seen in three months walked right by me yesterday. Only after I said their name and they looked at me did they recognize me. Felt so darn good.

Since Jan down 50lbs. Hard work and eating mostly right. Lotsa sleep, lotsa water. No pills, cleanses, counting...etc. only requirement....sheer determination.

I cannot speak for everyone but I was and still am a big girl. I have missed two days since January. I workout 1.5 hours a day. If I don't go by mid afternoon I start to get antsy. Prior to January I did nothing for my health.

Start today. Make it a lifestyle change and habit. Friend me if you'd like.
