This is much harder the 2nd time around. Motivation is weak and support is nonexistent.

I have had little to no support throughout my journey other than ppl I have "met" online.. I had to be my own motivation.. sounds silly but I honestly use social media to motivate me.. yeah society is supposed to be body positive and beauty is on the inside.. well bla bla.. I see ppl who are overweight and use that as motivation to not go back I also follow very fit ppl and use that as motivation as to what my body can and will one day look like if I put in the hard work. I have also had a few weight gains along the way and each time its harder and harder to lose the lbs.. that motivates me to stay on track..
I say choose a picture of u at ur healthiest and go from there to motivate u... I chose looks to motivate me. Its silly but i know that being smaller attracts a better looking mate.. so i went from 324 to 175 and still trying to drop 40 more.. btw we shouldnt be with anyone just based on looks but yeah...4 -
I am rather new to MFP, but i find reading a lot of the threads on the forums in the success and help subforums to be very helpful and motivating. Take a peek into some of the successes that are near your goals.
Remember that you are starting a marathon and not a sprint. understand the journey you are trying to make. how long it will take. and most of all do NOT get discouraged at that.
For me it will most likely take over a year to get anywhere near my goals, and that is just the weight loss. not even counting the muscle/fitness levels i would like to achieve after that. I could get discouraged knowing that i wont see the final result for maybe 2 years... but i choose to enjoy the journey, learn and remember how hard it is, so that i do NOT have to do it again1 -
if u have an orange theory fitness near u definitely check them out. try out different gyms via groupon or living social deals

Motivation from others can be tough. I've always felt that either people are jealous of my progress or they flat out don't care.
I've been my biggest cheerleader. I take a daily selfie to reference back and see my progress. I also take a daily pic of my cardio machines so I can compete with myself.
Just remember you can't do the same old thing and expect change.
Friend me if you'd like.1 -
Fake it until you make it. It's hard and no one likes discipline especially when food is concerned. But don't worry you'll get there.0

Support and motivation help. Having a "why" helps. You should try to keep those "whys" in front of you all the time. But honestly support and motivation shouldn't be the only things driving you.
Don't count on support from others. My kids have been my biggest supporters as of late, but now that they are getting older and pursuing their own interests that is changing. Other supporters have become jealous or competitive and backed away or sabotaged me.
Motivation comes and goes. Lifestyle changes like exercise and monitoring or changing your eating habits just have to become everyday habits. Fake it til you make it, force yorself to do it. Find healthy foods you love and activities you love. Love yourself enough to want to do these things even when you don't want to.
As mentioned above, look at success stories and imagine that for yourself. Believe that you can do it. Then go get it!

You can do this, just start out easy and work at it. Motivation can be hard especially when there are no partners but you can do it, it's in you. Work at changing your diet, take a few minutes every day or every other day and move your body. Walk, swim, build up some strength. You have to find what works for you and stick with it.
If you can't afford a gym, maybe there is a YMCA/YWCA near you, look at their classes and take advantage of the pool if you like swimming. If you can't afford that, there are apps for working out on the phone. Great fitness apps like Daily Workout Apps, Sworkit, Nike+ Training Club. There are also tons of small workouts that people post on the Internet, I save them on Pinterest.0 -
I understand what you mean, first time around I lost 65lbs and looking back had so much will power! I've gained some back and just getting started is difficult with no support. Feel free to add me if you want a buddy0

Hi... It's my 2nd time, because two years ago I lost 24lbs but I didn't know about jojo. Now I get 59lbs more than I finished diet. So don't be like me. You should think about what you eat now, and after. But you can't give up, because when I finished my diet two years ago I was really beautiful and everyone congratulated me. I don't know why you want to lose weight, but I think it's great idea. Because at second time it's harder. I hope that you won't have my problem in future and that your diet will be successful0
