Hey ya'll.. TGIF!!!

I hope i make some sense here..

So you get X amount of calories a day, and track bfast-lun-din..but does it really matter when those meals are eaten? Should you ensure you eat a handful of calories in one sitting verses one meal and it gets eaten within a 2-3 hour period..? Does any of that make a difference in weight loss?

    For weight loss, no.

When you eat could have other impacts. Such as if my husband eats certain foods late at night, he gets heartburn and that makes it hard for him to sleep. Or causes him to wake up at 3am.

Other than that, what and when you eat may make a difference for how satiated you feel. If I eat a big breakfast on Saturday morning I am good to run errands for a while. If I only eat a little bit of something, I"ll be hungry again sooner and that will get in the way with other things I need to do.

I tend to not be hungry when I'm active. Such as I can run a 10k, have just a banana and half of a breakfast bar before so I'm not running 'on empty'. Then about an hour after finishing, I'm starving. But it takes a while for that to hit me.

Not for the average person. This chart is pretty good at breaking down the answer:

I think it's all a matter of personal preference.

No, but yes. It doesn't matter except on a personal level. Meal timing can make a big difference in how comfortable and satisfied you are with dieting.
