5:2 newbie, maintaining with 5ish kg nice-to-loose - feel free to add

Hi, I am a programmer and the walks to the coffee machine and back are not enough for my body and mind.
Let's see if getting to the gym / pool more often again along with 5:2 can also shed a few extra "gourmet kg" (or cm which I care more about).
I do want to prevent the cm going up more, but it is not my goal to be considered thin. Food is not my enemy. Every try of non-stop counting and weighing everything made me feel like developing an eating disorder and it spoiled cooking for me.

I plan on calorie counting on fast days, and just taking notes on the others. That seems to be doable.
