I took measurements of my- arms, thigh, waist, and hips, this is 3 months progress---
Hips- 2.5in lost
thigh- 2.25in lost
arm- 1/2 in lost
waist- 1/2in lost

Also a total of 17 pounds since then, which brings my total to 88 pounds lost!... my concern is my measurements, I've been running but had some slip ups with my diet here and there, I want to know if I'm doing good with fat loss? I've never done measurements before, so I don't really know what's "good"

** 1/2 inch lost off each arm, and 2.25in off each leg, so I guess it's 8.5ish inches total? but you get the idea!

Wow, your legs and hips are slimming up really well, especially! I think those are good overall numbers for 3 months, definitely

It all depends on how much you have to lose and when you started to measure. Generally, you'll see a loss in inches when you are losing on the scale and sometimes at maintenance as well. If you are building muscle you can also see an increase in inches. Depending on what body type you have will generally tell you what an ideal measurement scale will look like for your body and where you will lose the most inches.

For me, I'm pear shaped, so I lost the majority of inches above my waist, and the bottom half has been taking longer. I've been measuring since day 1, lost 50lbs and 30.5 inches overall.

It sounds like you started measuring later, but I'd say any loss in inches is good, it just depends on your goals.

Congratulations on your success. As far as if it's good or not that's something you have to determine yourself. the most important thing is when you look in the mirror if you're happy that's all that matter don't go by anybody else's standards.

To put things in perspective took me 8 months to lose about 80 pounds and I've been maintaining for nine months. I started at 288 and my lowest was 204. I was actually flirting with going below 200 just to say I was in the hundreds. When I looked in the mirror I didn't like what I saw I was skinny fatperiod started lifting more I'm probably about 208 to 210 range now but I have muscle definition and I'm happy with what I see in the mirror. yeah I'm going to get a little heavier but that's a result of the lifting and building muscle
