Hello all!
I started using MFP on 3/23/2017 to track my food plan and I haven't missed a day! I'm learning alot about my eating habits (not so great) and slowly working to change it. Strangely my biggest problem is not eating ENOUGH coupled with eating poorly. So now that I'm gathering more information about my eating habits, I'm starting to make changes that I know I should make but haven't fully committed to (change, what a pain).
I joined Lifetime Fitness at the end of February mainly because of their family-oriented approach (I have 2 teens). I "hit the gym" 4-5 times a week either attending TEAM Bootcamp (HIIT training session) 2-3 times a week or strength training (through the myCoach program they have). While my weight (199lbs at start) hasn't moved much (~2-3lbs), my % body fat has dropped from 25.8% to 22.7% so improvement!
My near-term goals:
1) learn to eat better
2) continue my workouts (not burn out)
3) add meditation or some additional stress relief
Long term goals:
1) drop weight!
2) increase stamina
3) Look good at the beach! LOL.
So I'm hoping to meet like minded people to encourage me and to learn from. Of course, any Lifetime members would be great (workout buddies?).

Hello! I'm Amy, and I live on Long Island (Brookhaven). Good luck on your goals!
I'm still learning about healthy eating myself. It's harder with kids and getting older!1 -
Thanks Amy - nothing worthwhile is ever easy right? I took some advice from a friend, I'm just dragging my kids to the gym
The hardest part is just eating right and often enough! Imagine that! I'm not eating enough according to this app. Well, if you find any useful information on eating right, please share.0
