Talk to a physical therapist or orthopedic specialist.

Assuming you've been officially diagnosed and have a treatment/healing plan, and it's OK with your provider, I have found that an orthopedic knee brace helps (depending on your insurance, most or all may be covered). You probably should avoid extra weight-bearing exercises until healed.

If a diagnosed MCL G2 a rehab plans should have been given to follow. Cycling swimming are favored initial as they are non weight bearing.

I would also look at partial weight bearing exercises which can be found online.

regular check ups on progress with a physio/physical therapist is also important to ensure you arent over doing anything which could delay rehab/recovery time
