Omaha/Columbus Nebraska outdoors exercise location suggestions

Hello MFP peeps! Looks like we are moving to Omaha Nebraska area. I would like to hear from anyone who knows of a 'great outdoors' area for trail biking, running, nature walking even camping or canoeing areas. Anyone have suggestions?

    There's a running version, too. The brighter the line, the more people ride or run there, usually for good reason.

    Look for local web sites that catalogue trails, forums for hikers or paddlers, etc. Go to local outdoor shops when you arrive, and talk to people. The only thing they like talking about more than gear is where to use it.

    Come back and post some photos once you get settled in.
