Needing Support

Hi all!! My name is Lynn and I am a 32 year old who is positive about just about everything in life. There have been a lot of changes in my life since 2016- I got divorced and although I did it for a better life, it has had an effect on me. Which I am still trying to understand. I am already in a much more loving relationship with an amazing man and consider myself a step mother to his daughter. This issue... my ex husband was a health nut and kept me in line, sometimes when i didn't ask for help, but he did help me stay healthy and even lose some weight. My new man loves me just the way i am and together we have gained weight in our first year together. I am trying my hardest to lose the unwanted pounds but i am really struggling to have the motivation and determination that I once had. I am currently at my heaviest and I weigh 181.2 I am disgusted by that number, but i still love my body. if that makes any sense. I need help staying motivated.. so if any one needs friends please ADD me. I think having more friends on here might help me stay on track...

    Your positivity and love for your current body will take you far! I totally understand though, surrounding ourselves with like minded people can sometimes be the extra push we need. I actually utilize FB groups for this as well. There are so many good, inspiring and helpful people out there. Sending you a friend request now :)

    I don't know how to send a friend request. You can friend me. I understand how you feel. I was doing so well! And then stress and life ... uggg! And my fiancé accepts me and doesn't acknowledge that I am fat . I try to cook healthy. Cut salt and sugar and dairy. It is hard. One day at a time!

    Facebook does have lots of supporting groups out there. Honestly God gets me thru it all. But I do find prayer, Facebook support, articles on health websites, Dr. Oz show lol and his magazine, prevention magazine .. texting your friends and family asking for suppprt as well. I am currently faced with a broken foot as I feel last week and am house bond so no working out and sitting still is making feel very helpless right now. Feeling better today though. Good luck and love yourself. I know it's easier said then done
