Well, I should have NO prob keeping calories down today..throat is so swollen and sore from post nasal drip...oh how I hate sinusitis, allergies and all that comes with it.. just want to crawl back into bed...BUT laying down only makes it worse...hot coffee has not helped (usually does) so now gonna try a hot shower and the gym...push through it I guess .

Make a game of it. Bend over and see if you can get a drip to make it all the way to the floor while still attached to your nose

It's not a runny nose...it's posy nasal drip...it's running down the back of my throat and making it sore and swollen :(

Did you go to the doctor for it?

Because they should've given you specific medicine for it.

Not yet, I am the queen of allergies and sinus infections unfortunately. ..I already have a apt scheduled for something else next thursday, so Im trying to hold off until then. I have pretty much all the meds short an extra supply of antibiotics. ..trying my normal regime out first. ..it's usually not this bad as far as the drip goes..will give it a day or two, if it doesn't get better I will run into the "minute clinic" and get an antibiotics.

I second the neti pot (although I use the sinus rinse now... it's faster and more effective because there's more pressure). And use Fluonase or whatever that nose allergy spray is too...

Also, have you seen a ENT? I'm asking because I ended up getting nose surgery and it completely changed my life. No more clogged nose, no more post nasal drip... the recovery sucked but it was so worth it and I'm kicking myself for waiting so long to get it done.

Last time I was into doc for this they did say ENT was my next step, however, I did make it ALL winter with out a sinus infection or any major allergy problmens, we bought a house with all hardwood floors, which really seems to help ...no matter how much you vacuum and clean carpet it never seems to get all the dust and dog hair out...and dust is one of my biggest allergy triggers..but now that it is summer my outdoor allergies are kicking in. The flonase does help wonders, it's expensive but thankfully I get it from my doc for free. I will see what she says when I see her next week..today was better, altho I did sleep with like 5 pillows to prop my head up lastnight to help with the "drip"
