Omaha/Columbus Nebraska locations for 'great outdoors' exercise

Hello MFP peeps! Looks like we are moving to Omaha Nebraska area. I would like to hear from anyone who knows of a 'great outdoors' area for trail biking, running, nature walking even camping or canoeing areas. Anyone have suggestions?

Winter camped in Indian Cave State Park about 3 times.
The amount of hills in that terrain blew me away, and was great workout walking a mile to find a secluded spot off the beaten path.
I was thinking it would be great for bike on/off road, if not a tad tiring.
Not sure if they charge for a day trip.
