I bought these Quaker protein oatmeal like 240 calories which is a lot but I add peanut butter to make it so much more calories keeps me full till 1-2 ish but when I eat my regular oat 1/2 cup 150 calories added peanut butter 190 calories with some fruit maybe, both still equals the same calories but the protein one lasts longer, I start to feel hungry by noon ish with just my plain oats! Why why why same calorie intakes on both

Some people find protein keeps them feeling full, for some people that's fat, for some people it's carbs.
Do what suits you best. It's a great lesson in using your calorie allowance wisely.2 -
I like to add plain nonfat greek yogurt to my oatmeal and a little bit of peanut butter. It keeps me full until lunch. Experiment with different combinations, see what works for you. I love smoothie made of greens, with some fruit, vegetables and chia seeds mixed in, but I'm usually hungrier earlier from that breakfast. But it's loaded with vitamins and delicious, so i often have that. Also, i think we csn feel differently on different days from same thing. So, if i have an early huger offset that doesn't let up after drinking water /tea/ black coffee, i eat some of my lunch and save rest of it for later. It helps me to break it into smaller portions, this way i can have some more when i fell hungry again.0

Different foods digest at different rates and some just stick with you better. For me, that is mostly protein. Fats are ok but just not real filling. Carbs really vary. As I have gotten leaner, I have actually found I need to eat more to feel satisfied but too many and I won't stay full. Very much bread will have me starving in no time. Something like grits or potatoes is better but not great. Oatmeal or veggies actually stick with me pretty well. Finding what keeps you full will help you spend your calories wisely.0
