Pretty sure I hyperextended my leg knee playing volleyball came down on leg weird and back part of knee sore. Knee extention is only about 75% and I can just walk without pain. Any ideas?

Be prepared to do what 99% of the rest won't do!

Need to see an orthopedist. Vaneza very complicated joint and you don't want to do more damage to it then there is right now

you coulda tore a ligament or damaged your meniscus, or just bruised the joint. you'd have to have an mri to be sure, since that kinda knee damage doens't show up on xrays and thats the first thing a dr will do and waste your time and money. Lots of people tear ligaments and meniscus all the time and never see a doctor, so depending on how serious you are about knowing what is wrong , you can see a dr or not. Everyone on mpf always says "see a dr asap" for everything. I say put some ice on it and see how it feels in a few days. If it persists , consider a dr, if it gets better than maybe its nothing. just use your judgement.

If I were you I'd go to A&E asap. I am double jointed (I suffer from hyperextension of joints) and I tore my ligament when I was doing dancing. Best way to find out is to see your GP who will send for for an MRI scan. Don't risk damaging it even further.
