I've been using MFP for a couple of weeks and love it. Decided to mosy over to the community and realized this will be very helpful to my weight loss.
I've been doing standard calorie counting, leaning toward low-carb, but today was day two of the Jack Kruse leptin reset diet. I'm very impressed with it so far in that I do not experience hunger or cravings. It's pretty much a low-carb/primal diet, don't know if anyone else is eating that way.
I work out a lot these days. I'm in crossfit and I have 2-hour roller derby practices several times a week (4-5 times a week starting next week!).
I'm motivated to lose weight bc roller derby is hard and I need to be lighter so I can skate faster and longer! I'm 44 and weight loss seems harder than ever these days. I lost 50 pounds on hcg last year but gained back at least 20. I'm terrified to step on the scale so think i'll measure inches instead at first.

Roller derby! That's exciting, I started last year but fell out of practice and am too busy to go back now as I've started up netball instead!0

Hello everyone,
My name is Ebony and I'm new here. I'm here because I want to lose the weight that I gained. I did so well last year I got all the way down to 189 lbs (from weighing 207). I am now weighing 210. I just weighed myself today and let me tell you I didn't want to see what I was weighing. I know that's the first step to weight loss. Now I'm passed the devastation of knowing my true weight, I can now move on. I'm so glad one of my facebook friends recommended me to this site and it's easy. I can now monitor my progress.
I'm glad to be apart of this site,
Remember to stay active and eat healthy,
Peace and love,
Ebony0
