Sagging neck / double chin

Hi,
I'm relatively slim. My BMI is around 22. I fit into extra small and small mens clothing.
However I seem to have a double chin / sagging neck area.
Is there a way to get rid of this? (other than "just lose weight")
Thanks!

Sadly I don't think there is - lots of creams etc. on the market will promise toning and tightening, but as with some people's loose skin on their upper arms ("bingo wings") the options are either learn to live with it, or surgery, unfortunately.

Your other path might be to disguise it i.e. with a beard of some kind, if you are uncomfortable with it.

It may not look as bad as you think. A lot of people have this as they age.

I've found that lifting weights especially free weights will tighten up the neck area. Bicep curls, lat pull downs, anything that works the abs, etc. also puts a little tension on the neck and chest area. It's not going to completely erase a double chin or saggy skin but it can tighten things up. Of course, you have to do this consistently, three to five times a week for a couple of months to see results, but it worked for me.

There are actually exercises you can do, for your neck, that will help that. You will have to look them up on the internet. Good luck!

    Have you lost weight recently?
It can take up to 2 years for your skin to adjust to your new body- this includes the face and neck if you have lost weight there.

Give it time, things may improve. Your age, and genetics will determine how much.

    Cheers, h.

I recommend doing this only when you're alone

My sil has a double chin even at a low weight. She saw a plastic surgeon and was surprised how quick n relatively inexpensive some lipo was for the area. I've also recently seen a celeb who had it on the bulge just under the armpit. I believe both are not full blown surgery. Plastic surgery has such negative rep but I personally don't see anything wrong with it if it helps boost ones self confidence. Not that I like the overly plastic look but if u have a body part that makes you really uncomfortable why not.
