zigzagging calories? plz explain?:)

hey
can someone explain this concept? when it should be done and what about zig zagging when ur trying to maintain?? cheers :)

    It's covered in my ISSA Personal Training book. Pretty interesting stuff. One of the methods of weight loss and muscle building that has some scientific research thrown in behind it.

    You have better results keeping at the deficit each day but CARB cycling instead. And if you incorporate this with Intermittent Fasting it works even better.

    I did it after a 5 week plateau and it helped me get back on track. I have now lost 1 lb per week for the last 7 weeks since I started zig zagging. I think I will always zig zag even after I am maintaining because it leaves me more room for cheat days, but I make up for them when I eat less other days. Its all about leading a normal life for me. I want to be able to go out to eat and order something besides plain grilled chicken. I can splurge some days and be more controlled others in order to continue my weight loss.
