If you get them often, switch to a toothpaste without sodium lauryl sulfate, which is a known trigger. :+1:

I get canker sores regularly, stressed or not, and nothing has worked. Almost everyone says they need to run their course. I noticed that sometimes I get them if I eat too much 'junk' food.. but of course I can't prove that that's the cause of them. Trying the Lysine though! Haven't heard of that yet. Mine last about 2 weeks each time.

Are you sure it's not a cold sore? Oftentimes they could be in the same area that canker sores usually are. I would recommend getting tested for herpes cold sores are also called herpes simplex one.

If you got tested and it's not a cold sore I would recommend trying the products that people reccomended also try emergency!
