Oh yeah I have all the reasonable survival gear including medical/ first aid and I'm a decent shot... I'm from a military family I'm not a weirdo. I figure if I'd be fine alone having someone that's strong and fast would be a plus. I'd honestly prefer 2 people so sleeping in shifts was more practical though and a trained dog.
