Just curious if anyone has tried the Crystal Light Pure drink mixes to put in your water. I know it's only 15 calories a serving and is a blend of Truvia and natural flavors...tried some this morning and it was pretty good!

And for all you who don't consume artificial sweeteners, what are your thoughts on Truvia?

I got some and I think they're good for flavoring water, but I only put a little in. just enough to lightly flavor the water... if I put a whoel serving in, it tastes like "powdery" (?) I cant thing of a good words... it's just weird...

I am in love with the Grape flavor!! So good! And it is nice and light - not overly sweet like some can be. But I do only put 1 packet in a 24oz waterbottle (same with all of the mixes.. they are just too strong mixed with the "recommended" amount of water). :)

I tried the Pure, I think... whatever it was, it was supposed to be 'better" than the normal CL but I didn't care for the taste. The regular CL is the only "diet" flavoring I can stand. If I don't do that, I just do plain water. I don't like that weird aftertaste that comes with artificial sweeteners.

I have been mentored by quite a few specialists and Truvia or Stevia by far a better choice than Spenda or Equal or Nutrasweet. I have always had issues with saccharin too so try to stay away from all of them. I still use sugar in tiny amounts if I really want to sweeten something as 1 tsp only has 16 calories and I know it is all natural, but I do love the Truvia the best if I have to use more.

I've tried the CL Pure. I prefer it over regular CL. They tricked me though. One packet is 2 servings. If you dump the whole thing into a 20 oz bottle of water, it's 30 calories....

I love em! I buy them for my kids and their friends to drink, instead of soda or other pop. I personally drink plain water, but once in a while, have a flavored one.

Thanks for the info. :) I stay away from aspartame, Splenda, and all those things, but haven't really done much research on Truvia and Stevia.
