I'm 52 yrs old.Needing to get healthy.Wanting to lose 50-60 lbs. want to be around a long time for my Special Needs Adult daughter

Have you set up your profile to include your calorie goals, nutrition goals and current weight?
Once you have done that, I would recommend tracking your food for the first two weeks, then adding in exercise. It's hard to do everything all at once. I found that starting with tracking and then adding things onto that really helped make sustainable lifestyle changes.

Update found out I have type 2 diabetes. Trying not to eat cake, cookies, chocolate etc. needing to make lifestyle changes. Have been tracking since June 20170
