Hey guys so, I'm back on my fitness journey again after falling off for a bit. Anywho, I like trying new things out, so, what are a few of your favorite LOW fat or LOW carb foods you like to snack on or even meals? Ready.. set..GO!

I don't do low fat or low carb, I just portion out appropriately and stick to meals. (So I usually don't snack, but I don't think that's very important. ) I like so many foods that it's really hard to pick favorites. Right now I'm enjoying fresh pineapple and loquats and piel de sapo melon, I had a gorgeous omelet with shallots and couscous and bacon-cream-cheese, for dinner I'm having a pork cop, sweet potato mash with red chili and fresh green beans. I plan so that I rotate my meals to get variety, and I love to try new things.0

I enjoy fresh fruit (whatever is on sale and in season) for snacks. I portion it out and weigh it. If it's not fruit, it's popcorn or a small salad with Italian dressing (I found a dressing my kids and I LOVE and it's only 45 calories for 2T so a big win all around).0

You shouldn't be low carb and low fat...0 -

I find frozen garden peas are great for a snack, 100 grams of it is only 80 kcal, with some good nutrition including fiber and protein alongside it.0

Low fat = processed chemical *kitten* storm so I would limit the amount of low fat anything in your diet. I do eat low fat greek yogurt (just because I prefer the taste) in the mornings but that is pretty much all that I eat "low fat" as I rather have full fat and less chemicals/processed foods. I lied, I do like a nice cold glass of fat free milk every once in a while as well... I guess I am low carb tho in the sense that I do not eat white potatoes, white bread or white rice (because I just don't care for it) but I do get my carbs from nuts/yogurt/fruit/good cheese/veggies. I make an "Oat ball" that I use as a go to snack if I need one, its rolled oats, almond milk, dark chocolate chips & almond butter or we have a Natures' Grocers down the street and they make these awesome energy chunks that are pretty much the same thing. My new thing is riced cauliflower bowls, I make either chicken/steak/shrimp put it over the cauliflower rice, with some black beans, avocado and grape tomatoes. I also make stuffed peppers with the cauliflower rice, black beans, diced tomatoes and fresh Parmesan cheese in the crock pot... Soo good, YUM! Lean ground turkey chili is also a favorite in my house. Enjoy what you like to eat in moderation and you will be just fine.0

Low fat and low carb... so protein? I love chicken, turkey, pork, lean beef, fish, shrimp, scallops, eggs.... in a salad, on a bed of veggies, or else I like protein pancakes/mug cakes, protein bars (the ones I like are higher fiber so they have carbs), cottage cheese, Greek yogurt0

I like protein fluff with half a frozen banana. Leave out the banana to go low carb.0
