Hi...... so I love Asdas Ranch colslaw mix, I have it without the sauce and eat it ALOT!! However, the cals are high for what is basically shredded carrot onion etc. What would you put into the cal counter for it please? I'll try to post the nut info in the next comment

Try 40kcal, 2P 8C 0F for 100g. Strongly recommend picking up a low/no calorie sauce to go with it. Next level vegetable game!

Yeah once you start piling on the carrots the calories can be surprising. They are sweet and have a decent amount of carbs. Doesn't the mix have a calorie count on the bag? Or only for the slaw with sauce?

No it's so annoying, just says 95kcal for 100g which I'm assuming includes the dressing and croutons! It's ingredients are broccoli stem carrots and red cabbage, the rest is dressing and croutons

Log it as an equal weight of carrots. You'll be slightly overestimating (assuming that you're not eating the croutons), but it'll be pretty close.

This is a good point. If you were to eat 100g of carrots or 100g of red cabbage or 100g broccoli stems, the 100g carrots would be about 45 calories (going from memory but I think that's about right) while the 100g broccoli or cabbage would be a little less. SO if you weigh it and log it all as carrots, you'll err on the high side.

I put good balsamic vinegar in all my salads... super low cal and delicious.

Yeah I agree with logging it as carrot weight. I always try to overestimate when I get steamed veg at a grocery store and there is a decent amount of carrot in it.
