There are so many views on what a healthy diet is.
You have to educate yourself and then make your own decision.
My definition is "enough of everything you need every day, and over time, not too much of anything".
A healthy attitude towards eating is also important. You can eat anything you like. Food is good and to be enjoyed. Fear of food tends to steer us towards making bad eating decisions. Trusting oneself and enjoying food tends to result in eating a healthier diet.
You don't have to use recipes to cook. Learn how to cook without recipes.
When you are looking for recipes, you can google them. [recipe+ingredients] or [recipe+meal name] gives me great suggestions. You can also just google [recipe name] or buy/borrow a cookbook.3 -

What kind of food do you like, will you eat stews or do you want everything seperate, any strong dislikes, what's your level of cooking skill, what's available locally? With fruit and veg it's better to choose local in season over imported or hot house, better taste and cheaper usually, also how much time and effort are you prepared to invest?1

Lot's of great recipe websites out there. Some even let you enter in what you would like. I have a couple cookbooks that I enjoy and just play around with the recipes (add extra veggies) to bulk up the size of a serving without dramatically increasing the calories.1

I find that me eating more fruits and chicken and vegetables makes me feel overall healthier.
Just looking for some recipes others use that help them lose weight and/or makes them feel good!
Sushi is my main thing it makes my skin feel great because of the seaweed. But I would love to start cooking more meals myself. But thanks for the advice! Everyone's different! (:
Everybody loses weight the same way - by having a consistent calorie deficit. It's what's usually gets referred to as "eat less, move more". Feeling good increases a persons ability to stick to an amount of calories that makes them lose weight if overweight or maintain if at a healthy weight.
But because everybody is different in what they like, and how they do things, different things will make them feel good. You are the only person in the world who knows exactly what makes you feel good. You can also try some different things and do some things differently, and see if that also makes you feel good. You can read up on nutrition, but exactly what to do, is for you to decide.3 -
I recommend you take a look at the "recipes" section of the forums as well as the plethora of recipe websites out there. That way you can pick things that fit your particular taste, calories, etc.

Also, if you prefer books to online, look into the Joe Wicks books.
The recipes are super easy, but some of the portions come out massive, so use a bit of common sense...0 -
I heartily endorse the site, "World's Healthiest Foods". They give a complete nutritional profile of about 100 foods, basing their recommendations on calorie-to-nutritional ratio (much easier to understand than it sounds), and recipes based on your particular dietary needs and preferences: for example, in my case, low-carb vegetarian, but it could be any combination.
I've found Jamie Oliver and "Smitten Kitchen" to be good reliable sources of recipes that work.0
