i like them on pizza and burgers and in salads also.0

I have not tried this but my sister had stuffed banana peppers as a starter at an Italian restaurant. She said they were really good. She thought they may have had a mixture of sausage and cheese and they were served over tomato sauce. Now that I type it they don't sound super healthy. Just an idea.0

Another vote for stuffed. You can use a lower fat sausage, (or ground turkey with sausage seasonings added) and just a sprinkle of cheese to control the calories.0
