Hi all

I've made some homemade granola all the ingredients come to 3,307 calories. I've baked it cooked it and weighed it, it weighs 654g am I right in thinking that is 21 = 30g portions at 157 calories per 30g

In the recipe builder I just use 1 gram as a serving. Then I can measure out however much I want and weigh it and log it. So I'd do it as 654 servings. Then if I wanted 30 grams I would log it as 30 servings. (and it makes for less math for me - I hate math)

    Yes, you are correct.

ETA: Actually, it would be 31 gram portions, but the error at 30 g is less than 6 calories, which is less than 4%, which is less than the allowable error on the nutrition labels for the ingredients you used to make it.

3000 may be high - double check your entries for errors too
