Motivation needed!

Hi, I'm 47 years old and have been on a "diet" almost all of my adult life. I have the knowledge, but I am still having trouble letting go of the "bad" foods. I had a heart attack and triple bypass three years ago. Being fat is exhausting. I want to feel better, sleep better, and be able to move better!

You can do it. This is not a diet but a lifestyle. It's hard to get adjusted to it but you must take it one day at a time. You can do it

Fwiw, I look at it in terms of a week instead of each day. Some days I may go over a bit but then I make sure to eat a little less for the next day or so (depending on how much I went over). I don't starve myself on any day - I balance the calories out over the week. It takes paying attention to more than one day but it's become second nature now.

You can add me if you want. I'm 49.
