Anyone else with multiple syncopal episodes?
How do you find your balance/ limit during workouts?
I'm reluctant to use the term exercise intolerance but sometimes thats how I feel. Even when I was a healthy weight and fit I had to be cautious and couldn't keep up with what I thought was a reasonable workout. Sore muscles after a strenuous workout will trigger anxiety and anger in me. Okay, okay maybe its an intolerance to discomfort, LOL. No, but seriously it doesn't seem like a normal reaction.
my history: I've been fainting since I was 4 and its only happened about a 13 times in 33years. Thing is mine are really painful and will zap me of energy for weeks. My 1st tilt table showed my heart stopped (Asystole) for 25 seconds my most recent didn't show anything but continual elevated heart rate. Doctors haven't been really helpful. I've been on beta blockers and blood pressure meds in the past to try and control it. Currently I'm prescribed a beta blocker to take if I suspect it may happen...too bad reality doesn't quite work like that.
Please add me if you have experience with this and/or are willing to be encouraging.
