Hi my fitness pals,

I have been at it for two Months. Yahoo!!!!!!!! 8 weeks, 8 lbs.!

How about we list some of the rewards we are experiencing because of our healthy eating and dedicated exercise.

Here are some I have noticed:

My skin is improving.
I feel good that I am eating food my body actually needs.
My endurance is growing.
My arms are getting more defined.
I am able to strech more.
I feel for the first time that this is something I can do for the rest of my life.
I shop better at the grocery store.
I am down a size from 14 to 12!!!
My stomach is not bloated anymore.

I could go on and on, but want to hear from you.

  • I started January 31, 2008 and I have lost 10 pounds. I have a long way to go but with the change of foods that I eat I am sleeping so much better.
  • That is fantastic, keep it up!!

    I've lost 5 lbs in 6 weeks.... seems like it's going S-L-O-W.

    So taking a moment to 'smell the roses' is a great idea!

    I feel good - my endurance is growing

    and, best of all: I am sleeping MUCH better from all the exercise!
  • :smile: I'm not spending so much money at the grocery store! :smile: I can't believe how much food I had been eating...needlessly, out of boredom, just because it was there.
    I've also been encouraging my family to cut back. I don't have them on a strict low calorie diet. But, I'm encouraging them to .....have one serving of cereal at breakfast instead of 3, a small dish of pretzels instead of eating out of the bag for an entire tv show, etc. etc.
    It's amazing how much further the grocerys have been lasting.

    I'm not as tired.
    My skin is looking incredible. (water, water, water....it pays off)
    And best of all, My clothes are getting too big! Yea!

    I started on Jan 1 and have lost 13 pounds since then, three inches on my waste and my skin is incredibly soft. I'm so glad that I started.

    My best accomplishment:

    Resting heart rate from the time I was about 16:
    85

    Resting heart rate now:
    67


    Just so you know you can be fit and fat - at 16 I weighed 120-125 - I now weigh 160.
