I want to lower my calorie intake for the day how do I change

    You can increase your desired weekly weight loss in the Goals setting, or you can manually edit the calorie value from the same setting.

    Be careful to not set your calories too low, as rapid weight loss often leads to greater loss of lean mass (muscle) than desired. It is also not sustainable for most people for the long term and leads to "yo-yo dieting".

    Slow and steady is the most common pattern for long term success.
