How do you do calories for marinades?
For example.. I made some chicken souvlaki with lemon potatoes, there was at least 2 cups of liquid left which I don't drink and contains high cals like oil.

If I want to be really exact, I weigh the marinade before I put the meat in, weigh what's left and log the difference.1

Good thought! Didn't think of that.0

How do you figure that? I use marinades that can have a fair bit of fat and/or sugar in them. They're clearly all over the meat while cooking.0 -
I'm making satay chicken tomorrow. I pour the marinade over the chicken pieces to marinade, then i throw the whole lot in a wok, all the sauce goes in. The satay marinade weighs roughly 300g (I haven't weighed it yet), there's 2 of us eating it, so i just log 150g and be done with it.0
