Hi! New to MFP and am excited to start tracking my journey. I know how much the journal and accountability can help because I did have succcess with Weight Watchers several years ago.
Fast forward 10 years, new marriage, layoffs, new job, twins and about 80 lbs later, and I'm the textbook for diseases caused by obesity -- hypertension (hereditary since I was 29), sleep apnea, back pain, and now diabetes.

I did the WW thing a few times and had some good successes, even if they weren't long-lived. WW did teach me some good lessons about water and veggies/fruits and tracking. I've got the hypertension and diabetes thing going on, too.
You're in the right place. Wander around the groups and message boards, ask lots of questions, and make yourself at home!0
