went over sodium today....

I might be blowing this WAY out of porportion, but I have to know ^^
I was 320(mg?) over my daily amount of 2,500 for the day. When I was looking at some other people's posts, they mentioned to drink lots of water(which I have been doing all day and now am drinking even more lol) and to eat potassium-rich foods(for my lunch I had a large salad and a peach).
Are my efforts going to help me to continue losing weight and not retain water?

That's not too much, I'm sure you'll be fine! I sadly eat over by that much almost every day. (Been cutting back a lot) And I've lost weight steadily.0

All depends on the individual. As long as you are drinking water and other fluids, you should be okay. Would just watch the sodium a little closer in your food. Eating out, or eating processed foods can really increase sodium intake. Take care.0

I'm over every single day on sodium. Lean cuisines and stuff like that are so high in it. Probably not the healthiest thing in the world, but I've lost 15 lbs total in 3 months so it must not be hurting too bad....0

I'm always over my sodium. By way more than that. I drink anywhere from 8-12 glasses of water a day, sometimes more, and I haven't noticed an issue yet. But I'm still new, so we'll see...0

Any single day that you go over on anything is not going to wreck your progress.0

I am always over on my sodium also everyday!! I drink at least 8 glasess of water which will help flush out the sodium!!0

i just said to my fitness family that sodium is my worst enemy. i drink lots of water. i have been losing weight. maybe i could be losing more but who knows.0

i teaspoon of table salt is like 2100mg or more holy sh**!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i mean that should be expected but i never thought about it that much, and so some does i can say that with table salt ive probably been double. im thinking that im going to throw it in the bin!0
