I hate it, so maybe someone can clear this up for me but I'm a regular gym goer and if I go to the gym and workout 2,3 or even 4 days in a row, I'll gain like 2-3lbs but then I'll just lose it if I skip the gym for a day or two, what is the deal, I'm restricting my diet and adding a workout, so why am I gaining and not losing???!!! Grrrrr!

I just noticed someone posted a similar question around the same time you did. http://community.myfitnesspal.com/en/discussion/10571876/weight-gain-after-working-out#latest Check out the answers there. It looks like (and I'm a parrot, not an expert), you could be temporarily retaining water as your muscles repair themselves.

Its just water weight from your muscles retaining water for repair.0

It is water changes. For comparison my weight has changed by 3 lbs. just this week. I weigh in almost every day. Focus on the trend and how you look rather than the number on the scale.0
